The upcycled ash used for creating these globes comes from the City of Winnipeg. Winnipeg has been working to gradually replace many ash trees with other species to increase tree diversity therefore removing a number of ash trees that have now taken on new life as an i-co globe. The engraving on this globe is not deep to enhance the grain of the wood.
It’s interesting that the Ash tree has long been associated with wisdom and noble sacrifice. The properties of ash include protection, healing, communication, intelligence, knowledge, focus, spirituality, love, justice and wisdom.
The size of this globe is approximately 6″ x 6″ (15cm x 15cm). For size reference the journal in the associated photo is 7″ high.
